H2Operation

We are a startup founded by a group of long-time friends and acquaintances. These people work in various fields that perfectly complement each other. At the same time, they share similar social awareness and values. Their shared views have shaped their focus on crucial problems of the future and an ambition to help solve them. One of the most severe problems is the future shortage of drinking water.

WHAT WE DO

We Operate As:

Consultants & R&D

We analyze challenges in water management and design tailor-made technological concepts.

Innovators

We bridge the gap where traditional water management infrastructure fails.

Manufacturers & Developers

We supply specific technological equipment as well as comprehensive engineering solutions.

Our Mission

We develop innovative, chemical-free water treatment technologies that enable universally accessible and affordable drinking water – wherever it is needed most. We develop solutions that are decentralized, easy to operate, economical, durable, and easy to repair.

Strategy is the foundation of everything.

In our view, strategy essentially comes down to answering three fundamental questions:

  1. FOR WHOM?

We do not aspire to solve the challenges faced by large corporations, such as operating large-scale water treatment plants. Instead, we want to address the needs of individuals, families and small communities, as well as remote locations, industrial operators and emergency response teams. We provide support wherever traditional infrastructure falls short.

  2. WHAT?

Of all the challenges facing the world, we believe water and its future scarcity are among the most pressing. Water shortages in major urban areas will be addressed through large-scale investments. But who will take care of everyone else?

We tackle complex water-related challenges through tailor-made engineering solutions and advanced purification methods. We analyse specific local problems and design environmentally friendly, scalable and energy-efficient systems.

One of our specific technological solutions is MARGE (Modular Aqua Refining Gadget), a mobile off-grid unit capable of providing drinking water without the use of chemicals, anywhere in the field.

  3. HOW?

There are many ways to purify water, ranging from filtration to advanced “UFO” technologies. We believe in vacuum distillation followed by remineralisation. This technology has been used for many years, for example, in ocean-going vessels. Our ambition is to miniaturise it to the size of a car trailer and design it in such a way that the manufacturing cost remains affordable.

Who We Are Looking to Collaborate With?

We are actively seeking strategic dialogue and opportunities to collaborate with partners, including:

Public Authorities and Local Governments

Tailor-made solutions to strengthen regional water security and the emergency preparedness of municipalities.

Universities and Research Institutions

Joint research, integration of new technologies and implementation of pilot projects.

Business and Industrial Partners

Strategic investors, local distributors and partners to expand and scale up production.

MARGE

Modular Aqua Refining Gadget for future of the Earth

This sustainable mobile water treatment system combines vacuum distillation with advanced filtration. MARGE replaces complex, maintenance-intensive chemical systems with a clean, solar-powered solution designed for a wide range of environments.

  • MARGE removes organic and inorganic contaminants without the use of chemicals.

  • It runs on solar energy and is designed for continuous autonomous operation.

  • It offers easy maintenance and low operating costs compared with traditional membrane systems.

  • It can be deployed easily almost anywhere, from local communities to industrial sites.

It's About People

An idea is not everything. People are what make the difference. As mentioned above, we are a startup. We welcome all forms of support. We are small enough that every role is critical. Critical roles deserve exceptional rewards and ours come in the form of equity in the startup.

If you are a design engineer or a technologist with something to offer, or represent a company with expertise in these areas, please get in touch with us.

We combine many years of experience in mechanical engineering, international trade, fundraising, marketing and communications.

Project Title: Mobile Solar-Powered Water Purification Unit Based on Vacuum Distillation

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness Operational Programme.

The aim of the project is to develop a functional prototype of an innovative, autonomous mobile water purification device using advanced vacuum distillation technology.

Poster

The project was supported by the Czech Development Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic under the Czech Republic's Development Cooperation Programme.

The project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. It is being implemented under the NPO – DESIGN CREDITS call, Call No. 0462/2024.

The aim of the project is to design a device for purifying drinking water using vacuum distillation followed by remineralisation.

The project involves designing a device for drinking water purification using vacuum distillation. The planned outputs include a conceptual design for a smaller version of the device, a conceptual design for a larger model, and a 3D model of the smaller version for subsequent engineering development.
